New Products Developer- Spanish Speaking

Logistics company with Head Offices based in Umhlanga, are looking for a Spanish speaking new products developer to join their team. Fluent ability to communicate in Spanish both verbally and in the written word is a non-negotiable.

Launching New products under Private label
Samples to be requested from the factory and an evaluation done against brand leader prior to presenting samples to the client.
Communicating with factories to complete documents required by the retailer (Free sale certificates, CoA’s, Product Specifications, Listing Docs, Product Monography) and insuring information is correct.
Handing over of all information related to the project to the client.
Ensuring products comply with country legislations.
Briefing in artwork to designer.
Checking artwork to ensure compliance to country legislation and specification.
Handing over of artwork & barcodes to the factory.
Handing over of Product information to buying.
Managing artwork approval process with factory and client (Electronic proofs and Hardcopy proofs).
Following up on printing & production of new products.
Ensuring all project related information (Specs & artwork) is loaded onto Monte.

Managing timelines
Loading all projects onto project management tool.
Ensuring timelines are communicated to client at beginning of project.
Updating and tracking of product launch against timeline.
Communicating any changes in the timeline to all parties involved.

Quality Complaints
Dealing with all complaints received from the retailer, ensuring all complaints are sent to the factory and corrective action is sent to client.
Contact the consumer, if required, to apologise for the inconvenience and provide feedback on the corrective action which has been taken.
All complaints are recorded

Product Evaluations
Random samples to be purchased off shelf and evaluated on a regular basis to ensure there are no deviations in specs.
Any deviations on quality must be taken up with the factory and feedback to be provided from the factory.

Salary: R15 000 per month
