About the Role:
Our client in the travel and tourism industry is looking for a Systems Fulfilment Specialist to improve supplier connectivity and online booking performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong systems knowledge, commercial awareness, and experience working with APIs within the travel sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Increase API connectivity with travel suppliers to improve online bookings.
Work closely with suppliers to encourage and implement API integration.
Collaborate with internal Commercial, Contracts, Systems, IT, Reservations, and Operations teams.
Identify and improve system processes to reduce manual work and increase automation.
Monitor supplier pricing, availability, and rate accuracy.
Identify opportunities to improve revenue through better supplier connectivity.
Train internal teams on API functionality and system best practices.
Support ongoing system enhancements and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
3–5 years’ experience within a DMC, Tour Operator, or Travel Distribution environment.
Good understanding of APIs and travel booking systems.
Experience working with Tourplan (or a similar travel management system).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A qualification in Travel & Tourism or Business will be advantageous.
