Overview
Our pharmaceutical client in the UK is seeking a confident and motivated Sales Executive to join their dynamic, fast-growing team.
This role is focused on outbound sales outreach, customer engagement, and direct selling of pharmaceutical services and products. The successful candidate will play a key role in acquiring new customers through calls, emails, and digital communications, while maintaining a strong understanding of market trends and patient needs.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
    • Make outbound sales and outreach calls to prospective customers and patients
    • Drive customer sign-ups through direct selling and relationship-building
    • Send cold emails and contribute to written content for digital communications
    • Communicate clearly and confidently with prospective patients
    • Stay informed on pharmaceutical industry trends, market activity, and competitor developments
    • Maintain accurate records and perform general administrative tasks related to sales activities
    • Work independently to meet and exceed sales targets
 
Requirements
    • Confidence and professionalism when speaking with prospective patients
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to conduct outbound sales calls and cold outreach
    • Solid administrative and organisational skills
    • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
    • Interest in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector (training provided)
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive
 
Requirements
    • Matric  /  A levels or equivalent plus tertiary qualification (Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing is a plus)
    • Familiarity with ABPI (Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry) or GDPR (especially regarding patient data)
    • A proactive "self-starter" mindset with 3-5 years’ experience in an outbound environment (Cold calling, lead generation, or "hunting" roles).
    • Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage their own desk without a supervisor present
    • Healthcare/Pharma Exposure ideal
    • Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive to maintain accurate records
    • Confident communicator with the ability to handle objections
