Operations Property Manager
Our client, a development and property company is looking for an Operations / Facilities Manager, based in Durban.
To oversee the daily operations and maintenance of assigned properties while managing positive tenant relationships. This role ensures the safety and security of building occupants, coordinates maintenance and repair activities, and liaises with vendors to guarantee smooth, compliant, and efficient daily operations
Operations & Maintenance Management
Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the premises (including common area lighting, HVAC systems, pumps, tunnels, perimeter fencing, road surfaces, and electrical transformers) to ensure strict adherence to maintenance standards.
Educational Qualifications and Other Job Requirements
- Matric certificate required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related property qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of operational property experience in an Operations Manager or similar facilities role.
- Sound understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards, relevant property laws, regulations, and local building codes.
- Technical Expertise: Well-versed in building infrastructure, service contracts, and preventative maintenance requirements.
