NPO Operations Officer
Our client is a non-profit organisation (NPO) dedicated to addressing energy scarcity through the provision of safe, tested and sustainable solar energy solutions to underserved communities and institutions. By collecting, testing, refurbishing and redeploying end-of-service solar PV modules and battery energy storage systems, The NPO delivers measurable social impact while advancing the waste management economy.
Role Purpose
To establish a new entity. The candidate will be responsible for all the requirements to establish, operate, grow and deliver the organisation from start-up to impact.
The Operations Officer will build the NPO and act as the organisation’s operational lead, administrator (with support from an energy waste management organisation), fundraiser, project manager and stakeholder liaison. The role involves establishing systems, securing funding, managing stakeholders, delivering projects, and ensuring the organisation operates professionally, compliantly and sustainably. The role encompasses a build-and-lead execution mandate preparing the organisation to scale up.
Operations Officer must be equally strong in:
- NPC leadership and governance
- Fundraising and donor engagement
- Project and programme management
- Community-based development
- Operational systems design and execution
