Financial Manager – Hillcrest
 
Our client in Hillcrest is looking for a Financial Manager to join their dynamic company. The person will be responsible for reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts and preparing activity reports as well as financial forecasts.
 
Requirements:
  • Accounting or Bcom degree
  • 10+ years experience in similar role
 
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Daily checking of the bank and printing receipts
  • Debtors receipting
  • Preparation of Daily Cash balances report
  • Daily dealing with the company’s driver
  • Dealing with debtor’s querries
  • Assisting in Debt collection
  • Filing
  • Attending to any requests from managers
  • Loading and authorising payments to be made where necessary
  • Weekly preparation of Hit-list based on debtors list
  • Preparation and updating of cashflow
  • Liasing with Medical Aid Broker
  • Liasing with insurance company
  • Dealing with insurance claims
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts for 7 entities and reporting on this in the monthly directors’ finance meeting
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns every 2nd month
  • Preparation of annual budgets
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and submissions of the relevant income tax returns
  • Ordering of groceries for the company
  • Liasing with the IT company regarding IT issues
  • Emailing and coding Provisional Tax Invoices
