Our client based in Houghton Estate, JHB is seeking an expereinced Facilities Manager:
Requirements:
- Evaluate the regional property portfolio and develop a 5-year plan for the Regional Portfolio.
- Monitor and report on maintenance spend against annual budgets.
- Develop the Capex Expenditure on an annual basis and execute the expenditure within the financial period.
- Engage with the building industry professionals, contractors and service providers.
- Develop standard finishes schedules for the portfolio.
- Implement Occupational Health & Safety compliance regionally based on the Safety Audits from specialists.
- Prepare tender documents for Service providers and manage the procurement process.
- Provide oversight on quality for maintenance related work.
- Drive environmental and energy saving initiatives regionally.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have:
- A Quantity surveying degree or any building related degree.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
- 6 to 8 years’ experience in Facilities Management.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and statutory regulations.
- An understanding of utility management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Experience of working with contractors and suppliers and monitoring service standards.

Salary: R60K – R65K CTC PM
