Job Title: Project Manager (Events and Conferences)
Location: Fourways with 2 work from home days per week (pending events and busy periods)
Experience Level: Senior (8+ years’ experience required)
Salary: ZAR 40 000 – 50 000 CTC per month pending experience

To lead the delivery of exceptional events — from first idea to final applause — with intention, excellence, and purpose at every step.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Strategy
- Own the end-to-end delivery of events, using ClickUp to manage timelines, workflows, and accountability.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to turn ideas into meaningful experiences
- Align every event with its purpose — be it awareness, education, community, or change.
Event Marketing & Audience Engagement
- Develop strategic marketing plans to drive registrations and create buzz.
- Brief creative, digital, and content teams to produce impactful campaign material
- Monitor performance, tweak strategy, and drive real audience engagement, not just numbers.
Registration & CRM
- Build and manage smooth registration journeys that make every delegate feel seen.
- Track sign-ups, manage guest lists, troubleshoot tech, and ensure on-site check-ins are seamless.
Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales and Management
- Create and deliver sponsorship and exhibition strategies that go beyond logos — building true value and partnerships.
- Ensure we hit our sponsorship and exhibition sales targets
- Manage contracts, targets, entitlements, and reporting, ensuring ROI for all stakeholders
- Work closely with sponsors and exhibitors to ensure they feel part of something bigger.
Supplier & Logistics Management
- Coordinate all logistics with empathy and efficiency — from venue bookings, staging and décor, to travel, accommodation, and hospitality.
- Manage pre- and post-event tours, VIP schedules, crew movements, and everything in between.
- Be on the ground, in the details, and in control — while making it feel effortless.
Financial & Contractual Oversight
- Manage budgets with care and confidence — every cent accounted for, every line transparent.
- Oversee project cash flow, invoicing, reconciliations, and supplier/sponsor contracts.
- Keep the project profitable, sustainable, and in integrity.
Programme & Speaker Management
- Collaborate on creating meaningful event programmes that move hearts and minds.
- Handle all speaker logistics — from briefing and content coordination to travel and VIP support.
On-Site Management
- Be the calm in the storm and the energy in the room.
- Lead delivery teams, manage suppliers, troubleshoot in real time, and ensure every person has a remarkable experience.
