Electrician
Our Client, based in Pinetown, is looking for a suitably qualified Senior Electrician to join their team and undertake a variety of tasks relating to installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting electrical systems on generators.
Responsibilities
This includes but not limited to:
- Coordinate controls and monitors the set-up, work in progress and completion of specialised tasks activities associated with medium/low voltage electrical installations
- Perform effective troubleshooting or fault finding to identify hazards or malfunctions and, repair or substitute damaged units
- Coordinate and implement service maintenance plans
- Respond to urgent or unscheduled work requests
- Perform record keeping, and reporting
Qualifications
- Relevant Tertiary Education(e.g., N levels, Btech, National Diploma)
- Trade Test Certificate
- Wireman License
- Registered with the Electrical Conformance Board of South Africa (ECBSA)
- Must be able to issue Certificate of Compliance (CoC)
Experience
- 5 years or more experience
- Must be able to operate at Single and three phase (LV and MV)
- Thorough knowledge of OHSA regulations and guidelines
- Computer Literate
- Valid Driver’s license

- Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools and, electrical drawings and blueprints
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Time Management and organisational Skills
Salary
- R15 000 – R18 500 (depending on experience)
