The Digital Strategist will be key in formulating and executing the school’s comprehensive digital marketing strategy working toward enhancing their online presence, engage prospective and current students, and promote the brand’s programs in the digital sphere.
 
The Digital Strategist ensures that our marketing efforts are data-driven, innovative, and aligned with our broader institutional objectives.
 
Responsibilities include:
    • Data Analysis and reporting: Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support digital campaign creations that are specific to digital trends, based on logical structural collation (content & structure) and analysis of data/processes, prepare information reports in useful and relevant formats for utilisation by management and cross-functional specialists for operational/tactical/strategic decision-making: trend identification, monitoring, risk identification, external stakeholder education, etc.
    • Content creation: Creating content for all social media platforms/ emailers/ from video/ reels/webinars.
    • Overseeing and Directing Writing / creating content for all copy suitable for various platforms and formats.
    • Content delivery: Through various digital platforms including social media, website, SMS, email.
    • Digital strategy: Creating a digital campaign strategy and content calendar for the intake period aligned with offline marketing campaigns and events.
    • Budgeting: Allocating relevant budget across platforms, programmes and regions to ensure maximum output and ROI.
    • Develop and Implement Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the digital marketing strategy to drive growth, engagement, and conversions.
    • Analytical Ability: Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
    • Campaign Execution Create campaigns for organic and paid media to reach SOV objectives.
    • Monitoring and Evaluation: Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
    • Community Management and SEO/SEM: Oversee all and implement online marketing efforts, including website, blogs, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, social media, and display advertising campaigns
    • Meeting Business Objectives: Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to ensure that all marketing efforts are cohesive, well-coordinated, and aligned with our overall marketing and business objectives
    • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external agencies and vendor partners, ensuring that all parties are working towards common goals.  
    • Manage paid campaigns across various digital channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, social media advertising, and affiliate marketing
    • Manage Budget: Oversee the digital marketing budget, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively
 
Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or relevant field
    • Only apply if you have a proven digital experience – 5 years or more.
    • Proven work experience as a digital Marketing strategist – designing and execution of the strategy.
    • Agency experience a preference.
    • Able to develop implement and execute the digital strategies across all platforms.
    • Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media)
    • In-depth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems
    • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics/ Hootsuite/ Sem Rush
    • Understanding of web design
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Creative thinker with data-driven analytical aptitude
    • Team management skills
    • Excel for reporting and ability to analyse data to make recommendations.
    • Good communication both internally and externally with social audiences.
