Diesal Mechanic I Technician
The Technician’s primary mission is to ensure that all vehicles are operating efficiently and are well maintained in accordance with company standards

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
- • Ensuring that all vehicles are operating efficiently
- • Ensuring that maintenance standards are in accordance with company standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
- • Service, Repair and diagnostics of vehicles
- • Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on vehicles
- • Overall care and maintenance of company assets
- • Pro-active planning of repairs and services of vehicles
- • Starting jobs and finishing jobs on Technician Desk
QUALIFICATIONS / BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
- • Minimum Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification
- • Minimum five years general maintenance experience essential
- • Trade Test / National Qualification preferred
- • Code 8 Driver’s license
- • Service, Repair and diagnostics knowledge / experience for all vehicles and commercial vehicles (New and Old)
- • Experience in Yellow Equipment
