Clinical Associate

A Psychiatric Clinic is looking for a Clinical Associate to assist their Psychiatrists and their multidisciplinary team

Duties & Responsibilities

Obtaining patient histories

Performing physical exams

Ordering diagnostic or therapeutic procedures

Interpreting findings and diagnosing common emergency conditions

Developing and implementing a treatment plan

Monitoring efficacy of therapeutic interventions

Providing patient education and counseling

Making appropriate referrals for specialized care

Qualification Required

Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP) degree.

Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
