Our client, a Financial Services Provider that offer tailored unique insurance packages is looking for a Claims Manager, based in Kloof, KZN,
 
    • Team Leadership & Oversight:
    •       The claims manager leads the team of claims handlers, ensuring that each member is well-equipped to manage their caseload. This includes mentoring, training, and performance reviews, as well as handling escalated or complex claims that exceed standard processing procedures.
    • Process and Workflow Management:
    •       They develop and implement efficient workflows to manage a high volume of claims, ensuring timely processing and adherence to internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements. This involves continuous process improvement to streamline operations and reduce bottlenecks.
    • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    •       Ensuring that all claims are handled in line with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards is critical. The manager oversees quality checks and compliance audits, mitigating risks that could lead to financial losses or reputational damage.
    • Customer and Stakeholder Communication:
    •       Acting as the bridge between the claims team, underwriters, and clients, the claims manager communicates progress, addresses issues, and maintains customer satisfaction by ensuring that claims are processed fairly and transparently.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    •       By analysing trends in claims data, the claims manager can identify areas for improvement, forecast future workloads, and adjust strategies accordingly. Their insights are key to strategic decision-making at the executive level.
