Our client in the UK is looking for a Business Development Specialist to help them grow their network of corporate partners.
The business Network is a global community of over 50,000 professionals across 114 countries, connecting women and allies throughout the automotive industry. We work with organisations worldwide to support talent development, visibility, and commercial growth.

You’ll be the person opening doors, starting thoughtful conversations, and helping organisations understand how they can engage with and support the business Network.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys outreach, research, and early-stage relationship building and who wants to grow into a long-term career in partnerships or sales.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will:
- Support the growth of our corporate membership, sponsorships, and partnerships by identifying the right organisations, initiating conversations, and qualifying interest before handing opportunities to our senior sales team.
What you’ll be doing
- Research and identify organisations and decision-makers that align with our community and partnership offerings
- Proactively reach out using structured, thoughtful outbound campaigns
- Start early-stage conversations to understand company priorities, challenges, and potential fit
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads before passing strong opportunities to senior sales colleagues
- Book and coordinate introductory and discovery calls
- Keep our CRM organised, accurate, and up to date
- Follow up consistently to maintain momentum and engagement
- Share simple market feedback, including common questions, objections, and competitor mentions
- Support proposals, follow-ups, and light sales administration where needed
What You will have:
- Matric + Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- 2–3 years’ experience in business development, sales support, SDR, or lead generation roles
- Strong written and spoken English
- Clear, confident communication across email, LinkedIn, and phone
- Good organisation and time management skills
- A proactive, reliable mindset with strong follow-through
