Broker Consultant (DBN)

 A life Insurance company in Durban is looking for a Broker Consultant
Consistently deliver and exceed on allocated sales targets
Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with financial
advisers, ensuring consistent growth of their panel
Assist in identifying new potential financial advisers and
opportunities for business growth
Technical training and ongoing product support to financial advisers
Facilitate the sales process to ensure that Financial Advisers are
going through the correct channels
Participate in proactive sales and marketing initiatives
Build and sustain profitability in their business
Keep up to date with competitor product and service offerings and
industry developments, making recommendations to management where necessary
Review New Business Pipeline, follow up and tracking to
ensure conversion
Give regular one on one and group presentations
Strong telephone manner; able to make successful cold calls and
sell products telephonically
Weekly analysis and reporting on deliverables/achievements
Attend regional financial adviser meetings and deliver on The company
marketing strategy to their financial advisors
Increase sales and retention of brokers by building relationships,
superior client service and technical knowledge
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Broker Consultant
Minimum of 2 years life insurance experience
An Insurance qualification would be advantageous (RE1, RE5,
Certificate in Financial Planning, Diploma in Wealth Planning, CFP or similar)
Previous sales experience with a sound knowledge of the
insurance industry
Competent on Excel
MUST HAVE a Proven track record of developing and maintaining a
profitable portfolio of financial advisers
Good references
Own insured transport, cell phone and valid driver’s license
R15 000 CTC (petrol and cell comes out of that) + commission
