Our client is looking for a dynamic, hands-on manager to lead and grow this exciting new initiative.
About the Role
As AI Labs Manager, you will oversee the daily operation and development of the lab – ensuring it runs smoothly and remains at the forefront of emerging AI technologies.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the lab’s physical and digital infrastructure.
- Coordinating/Running demonstrations, workshops and training sessions.
- Supporting faculty and students in using AI tools across learning and research.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring tools function optimally.
- Curating and maintaining access to the lab’s growing suite of AI software and resources.
- Promoting awareness and responsible use of AI across the community.
- Support the development of AI products and services that can be monetised through the ecosystem.
You will have:
- A mix of technical curiosity, creative problem-solving, and people skills.
- A broad and deep understanding of AI tools and trends (e.g., generative AI, analytics, creative AI, automation tools).
- Experience managing technology-based environments or labs.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills – able to engage confidently with students, academics and technical teams.
- A passion for innovation in education and lifelong learning.
