Technical Sales Professional – Durban
Our client, a well-established leader in the field of industrial machinery and equipment, are looking for a dedicated Technical Sales Professional to join their team and drive sales growth.

Role Overview:
This role will involve promoting and selling Hydraulic tools and equipment, providing technical support, and building lasting relationships with customers.
Proficiency in English is a must and knowledge of Afrikaans and/or Zulu is a plus. Familiarity with Pastel software would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Hydraulic tools and equipment to industrial clients.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
- Maintain existing customers.
- Develop new customer relationships.
- Develop new key market areas.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Independently organize customer visits and plan trips.
- Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and prospects.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of sales experience in a related field.
- Mechanical and/or hydraulics knowledge is essential.
- Trade Tested qualification will be advantageous.
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans and/or Zulu is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Pastel software is advantageous.
- Previous knowledge of CRM will be advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel.
- Valid passport.
