Our client is a prominent equipment solutions provider based in Durban, renowned for its extensive product range that includes MAFI terminal tractors, CVS Ferrari reach stackers, TMEIC crane automation systems, pre-owned equipment, and a variety of other offerings.
Our client is looking for a dynamic and target-driven Technical Sales Executive to play a pivotal role in their team.
The ideal candidate will be a technically minded individual, preferably an experienced engineer with a strong understanding of the cargo and material handling industry, who is passionate about providing innovative solutions to clients.
- Technical Acumen: As a Technical Sales Executive, you should possess a deep technical understanding of cargo and material handling equipment. This knowledge will enable you to effectively communicate with clients and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Expertise: Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and after sales services of equipment throughout South Africa and beyond. You will leverage your technical knowledge to identify customer needs, offer solutions, and ultimately close deals.
- Client-Centric Approach: Understanding the unique requirements of logistics companies, container depots, warehouses etc. is crucial. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring that their needs are met with the right products and services.
- Target-Driven: Meeting and exceeding sales targets is a key objective of this role. You should be highly motivated and results-oriented, consistently striving to achieve and surpass set goals.
- Problem Solver: Your ability to provide effective solutions to customers’ challenges and requirements will be instrumental in your success in this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Commercial, Logistics) is preferred.
- Proven experience in technical sales, particularly with cargo and material handling equipment.
- Technical background, ideally with engineering experience and knowledge of the equipment and their components.
