Stock & Warehouse Controller – JHB

• Check and accurately receive deliveries from suppliers

• Sample of raw material for lab testing and approval

• Check and accurately send back RTS’s to suppliers

• Follow relevant fire and safety requirements for our JHB branch

• Rotational stock counts for procurement

• Control storage and return of returnable packaging

• Housekeeping – Production, yard, finished goods stores, receiving and raw material / packaging storage areas

• Avoid and reduce damages to raw materials and packaging. Implement actions to prevent and resolve.

• Receive and check in interbranch stock transfers – in bound and out.

• Receive in and check fleet damages and ATR’s

• Plan and supervise the repacking of damages into sellable stock

• Rotate stock – old stock to be used before new stock

• Avoid and reduce damages of finished goods stock

• Implement branch stock takes as required

• Daily check of logistics stock exception to avoid all unnecessary short supplies

• Check and sign off production filling sheets

• Check and sign off production batch cards

• Maintenance and trouble shooting in production to avoid down time and shortages

• Opening and closing process of the branch

• Assisting logistics with load master function as required

 

 

EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS

 

• Minimum 3 years experience in a

• Understanding of dangerous goods and fire risk

• A high school matric qualification. Tertiary inventory, production or warehouse controller course will be an advantage.

• Mathematical ability for basic calculations and decimal points

• Forklift licence
