Our client who is one of the largest manufacturers of woven polypropylene products in Africa, is looking for an experienced, dynamic and confident Sales Representative to join their JHB team.
- The Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving and implementing business goals and strategies as directed.
- And ensuring sales targets and objectives are achieved to gain market share in the specified market sectors.
Responsibilities
- Achievement of company sales targets.
- Identify new Business opportunities both product and customer.
- Prospecting and Cold Calling
- Achievement of agreed Daily Call Targets including call frequency targets based on customer category.
- Introduction of new products to existing customers.
- Efficient, Effective, Quality reporting on all sales and marketing aspects of the business that will include competitor activity and information.
- Increase penetration on new product introductions whilst maintaining and growing market share on existing product ranges.
- Ensure effective communication between the Company and Customers while building and developing strong relationships.
- Building Relationships with our customers and potential customers.
- Regular updating of Mobility platform with all relevant client information.
- Increase market share whilst protecting existing share.
- Updated business opportunities to be documented and communicated at all times.
- New customers to be captured into the Sales Mobility platform.
- Capturing Customer Visit data into Sales Mobility platform immediately.
- Proper, efficient and effective use of the Sales Mobility platform which includes relevant customer feedback.
- Professional and relevant written communications between company and customer.
- Ensure updated and relevant information and marketing materials are provided to customers
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Suitable Business / Sales qualification
- Experience in bulk bag packaging Sales would be advantageous
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar Sales role
- Strong communications and administration skills
- Confident, agile and flexible
