Accounts Receivable and Payable controller

Our Client,  a leading stockist and distributor of stainless steel products and services in South Africa, is looking for a Accounts Receivable and Payable Controller  to join the team.

 

Salary: Basic R 14 500 plus benefits (R16 500 CTC)

Based in Westmead, Pinetown, KZN

 

• Minimum five years operating in a full creditors’ function, in a medium to large organisation

   

• Preferable: experience in running a large debtors book

   • Computer literate in accounting software

   • Competency in excel    

  • Ability to apply relevant accounting system functions  

  • Understanding of basic administrative functions related to creditors & debtors

 

  • Attention to detail    

   • Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines tmeously

          

 Full debtors and creditors function   

   

• Weekly debtors and monthly creditors reconciliatons

 

• Following up on debtors payments   

   

• Resolving  debtors and creditors  queries timeously

   

• Reviewing  documentation pertaining to invoices, delivery notes and goods received vouchers

  

• Intermatching supplier invoices timeously

 Processing non stock invoices daily  

  

• Checking, Printing and Filing of Reports  

   

• Processing Journal entries when required  

   

• Loading payments on business online   

   

• Cashbook processing    

  

• Assist in Stock counts    

  

• Adhoc administration tasks when required
